Bicycle Tour Chain Whip
What tools to take an a bike tour is a difficult decision. It depends on how remote the tour is; but also what you would consider a road side repair.
A broken spoke isnt too common if youre not over loaded or riding rough terrain . But the tools required to fix them seem to dominate most of the tool kit.
Casette key, adjustable whench, chain whip, spoke key.
There are a few tour specific cassette tools which are light but look certain to damage your bikes dropouts
Anyway 5 minutes with a dremel and a chain splitter and I have still perfectly functioning chain whip and saved 150g.
